Summary

Over the last couple of days, I posted a projected spring depth chart for Ohio State on both sides of the ball. On today's show, Jonah Booker drops by for his usual Friday visit to tell me where I was wrong. And where I was right. But telling me where I was wrong is more fun.

And you can join in on the fun on the Friday 5ish for that and much more.

Good morning, Buck Nudders. Welcome to the

0:29.9

Buck Nuts morning 5 here on Friday, February 26th, 2021. I am Dave Biddle. I am joined by Jonah

0:36.7

Booker for his usual Friday visit. Jay Book, I did a projected depth chart for Ohio State on both the

0:43.7

offensive side of the ball and defensive side of the ball. The last couple of days I did offense on

0:49.3

Wednesday, defense on Thursday, shameless plug listeners go over there and check those stories out

0:54.1

if you haven't already. You get your take on what the depth chart is going to be for the

0:57.5

Buck guys entering spring, but Jonah set me straight here. First of all, what intrigues you the most

1:03.6

when you look at the offensive side of the ball and what did I get wrong? Yeah, I mean we can we can

1:08.9

just look at the positions and to me, the obvious most important position on the team is the quarterback

1:17.6

position and I can't remember a time where you you have an entire quarterback room that's competing

1:25.9

for a position at Ohio State where no one has ever thrown a pass in the collegiate game.

1:32.8

We all, you know, we saw the runs and everything from CJ Stroud that he broke off against Michigan

1:38.0

State. He looked great and Kamikore coming in as a five star Jack Miller was a high four star

1:45.1

coming in and I think that's going to be the story of the spring because you're only as good as

1:53.0

your quarterback position and to me, I don't think Ryan Day is going to determine who the actual

2:00.0

starter is because if you do, what you're looking at is a situation where the guy who doesn't win

2:07.2

probably between CJ Stroud and Jack Miller, the other guy could easily be in the transfer portal.

2:13.2

I'm not saying that that will happen with those kids, but you're seeing that trend quite a bit

2:19.9

right now in college football to where if kids aren't, if they don't win the job, then there's a very

2:26.1

good chance they can enter the transfer portal and you don't want to see that because you want to

2:31.2

have all of your guys there a deep enough room, especially when the room is so inexperienced.

2:38.3

But the one position that is going to have a lot of debate Dave is obviously the running back
