So Jazz says this to Chris Kirshner after the game yesterday that I think makes the Yankees look bad.

But it was Jazz being honest.

Jazz said he only worked at second base during the offseason.

And the Yankees explicitly told him he'd be their second baseman.

That was the position where he began the year before he was moved to third base.

Quote, everybody knows I'm a second baseman, Chisholm said.

Of course I want to play second base, but whatever it takes to help the team win,

if that's what the team chooses, that's what I got to do.

I don't write the lineups, you feel me?

I'm playing every day, so it's hard to be upset.

Yes, I know I'm a second baseman. Yes, I know I'm a better

second baseman. But at the end of the day, I still have to play third base. I just have to deal with

it. Now, what's tricky about this is because Chris Kirsner is a great reporter and we're reading

his quotes, and he is a great reporter. I'm glad he got this interview. We don't hear it. So I don't hear the tone of jazz chisholm.

I would guess there's some levity in there. So he isn't being passive aggressive. What do you think he is?

I don't think so. I think he's just, that's just how jazz is. Because you heard him when he did the interview on ESPN. Would you listen to that? Yeah, of course. He's just, he's laughing all the time. Yeah. Like he's just, he's real about it, but he's also not serious about it.

And so he's not saying, I hate playing third base.

I'm a second baseman.

He's basically saying, you know, I'm a second baseman, but, you know, I've got to play third.

And I'm going to do his best on my team.
