Wild game last night in L.A. 8 total turnovers in the game 3 on one crazy play in the first half. You know, the Eagles just

over two weeks ago had a 21-0-0 lead at halftime as an 8-2 football team playing in Dallas.

They're now 8-5. They've lost three in a row, including that game. The good news for them is

they have the Raiders this week, and they have Washington twice in their final three games.

So a 20-23-style tanking at the end of the year seems unlikely. We'll see.

I got this from Tom.

Tom wrote me and said, Kevin, you made a comment about the business of the team being a factor in hiring and firing decisions.

I think you're on to something. Please elaborate. I think I know what Tom is referring to. I think it came up in the conversation with Ben at the end of yesterday's show,

and I said, you know, this isn't the year that they start hiring, that they start firing people,

that there was some equity gained and, you know, the ability to kind of withstand a bad season because of what happened last year.

But the eventual hook might be a business influencer, meaning, I mean, this is what I think to be

true. Look, last year was great. This year, not great. Last year was great and it equaled an increase in overall interest in the team, hence increased revenue.

But not overwhelming increased interest. I don't know what they were expecting, and I can't tell you specifically

what they got. I just know that it wasn't exactly the bounce that they hoped to get. So they

needed this year to be a solid follow-up year, another playoff season, another playoff contention

season, an exciting season. And it's been the opposite of that. It's been a dismal season

that never gained any momentum, never had a shot of turning around, really. And I think that

while Dan Quinn and Adam Peters absolutely survive and deserved to survive this season because
