All right guys, you got a special guest on the podcast today.

His name is Jay Hewitt.

He's a pastor, author, and Iron Man Triathlete.

He actually completed in an Iron Man Triathlon

while undergoing treatment for terminal brain cancer.

So he writes about all of this in his book

called I Am Weak, I am weak I am strong building a

resilient faith for a resilient life so if you know anything about my show you know the

word resilient that just like appeals to my brain but this is a tremendous story

of resilience in this book and the book certainly does get

practical as well doesn't just kind of stay out there in the memoir world but it's a

practical story of a guy who got this terrible news in his late 30s and he

could have just rolled over and literally died or just rolled over and stopped really paying attention and

stop, yeah, we'll just kind of let these pills do what they do and the surgery do what they do and

then we'll just kind of figure it out.

But he ran to God in this moment, but he also ran to resilience.

And so we go through all the story of like, okay, he gets sick.

Now what?

Okay, what about surgery?
