Zach Shamler this is strong opinion sports today is Tuesday

October 8th and I'll be honest I'm a little bit sick today it's not great

and all my throat's kind of messed up. I had a good weekend though. A ton of football, hung out, watched football. I got to see some of my friends. It's just an amazing, amazing time. And I do want to start today with this. You know, last episode I talked about the movie the Joker I went and saw the movie I went and saw a Joker this weekend and I can't really say I had a good time

But I was transfixed the movie had like a gravity to it it's not really fun

but it is really good I from a filmmaking perspective I'm a nerd I love movies it's a good movie

but it is dark. It's very dark, very, very dark and real. I mean, that's Joker. That's exactly what I think Joker needed to be a movie about this dark villain.

What the movie did is reminded me a lot of a... needed to be a movie about this dark villain.

What the movie did is remind me a lot of a good game.

When you watch sports, one of my favorite things in sports is when you can't predict what's going

to happen next.

There's a level of tension in drama

when you have no idea who's going to win

and what's going to happen next.

And Joker had a lot of moments of tension just like that.

The same reason I love good sports games and good football and baseball and basketball was the reason why I love this movie is it's just so tense and I don't know that love is the right word there I respect it. It was good. It was very dark. It was to be like emotionally very like, ugh. I just kind of sat there and looked at the dark screen after the credits stopped rolling and my girlfriend looked to me and said like what do we do now like how

do we and I don't know how to feel about it but I you know without spoiling a movie at all I promise

you I will not I do want to say the lesson from this movie is be nice to the little guy.

Be nice to people that you don't understand.

Be nice to weird kids.
