And today I'm going to be sitting down and interviewing Bodyguard to the Stars, Jay Baccar.

In this episode, Jay shares with us about how his passion for service took him from one of the bottom three in his class academically,

to ultimately move up and getting focused in school, to getting into the service, to then helping people in parole,

and ultimately to how he became one of the most in-demand bodyguards in Hollywood. To date, Jay has been the personal bodyguard to Connor McGregor, The Weekend, Rihanna. The list goes on and on. But Jay's also done some really awesome stuff outside of that, and a lot of people weren't known. So this interview was real privilege because we got to explore that story a little bit as

So for those of you that don't know, you kind of want to share some of what you've done professionally, give the audience a little sneak peek at what you do.

Yeah, well, you know, right now it's not a mystery, you know, who I work for.

Connor is my main client, but getting this line of work, I've probably been doing it for the last

15 years, man. You know, my initial experiences with law enforcement you know I started with the state

of California as a parole agent was doing that for quite a few years and then a good friend of

mine introduced me you know to the bodyguard game yeah it was good side work yeah it's this

fun initially to see what goes on behind the scenes and to be around certain clientele

and you know, it helps to when TMZ is around and other things where you get a little

publicity here.

Yeah, get that TV time.

Yeah, but you know one thing leads to another in this line of work, the more you do it, the more you start to develop and collaborate with other agencies and bodyguards.

And they see how well you work and the type of person you are.
