Welcome back. It's Beyond the Box Score. I'm Dan Schneier. That's Jacob Gibbs. And this is the start of our player profile series for the 2020, second season and beyond.

We've wrapped up the draft.

We're moving forward to the 2026 season redraft and dynasty.

And what we wanted to do for this series was before we get into the nitty gritty of all the fantasy numbers and all the fantasy rankings,

wanted to break down each individual player and start with quarterback position because as Jacob and I were talking about before the podcast even started off air,

we believe this is where the fan, like it all starts. The foundation is at the quarterback

position. If your quarterback is making the right reads, getting the ball out on time,

moving the football, throwing touchdowns when he's in the red zone, not bonging down,

everything is impacted from a fantasy standpoint, the running backs, the receivers, the tight ends.

It's how you generate the points.

And it's how you really see these teams and these breakout players emerge because it's not

going to happen at the quarterback position.

It's probably not going to happen many other spots.

At least that's how we feel.

So last year, we ranked the quarterbacks during one of our first shows ever was ranking the quarterbacks on the new show. And this year, we're going to do some profiles and let you get a little bit of insight into these quarterbacks on film. They're advanced stats. They're accuracy charting. Some of the things we discussed in last year's quarterback ranking show, a lot of that will come out today. so we're excited because today we get to start with the best possible person we could have picked for me,

at least. It's New York Giants Football Court. It's New York Football Giants quarterback Jackson

Dart. Yeah, where else would we start, Dan, on beyond the box score than Jackson Dart.

Had a lot of fun with the Jackson Dart film last year and I think helped a lot of

people be early to the Jackson Dart party for fantasy which ended up being really big man 20 points

per game. Wow. And that includes a absolute disaster in week 16 where he got zero points, which I

mean, you could speak on that as a Giants fan. I think that was just mostly a really, really, really weird coaching decision to come out

and run the ball like every single time for like four straight drives against the Minnesota Vikings.
