I told you going to break that we had breaking news around one of the best players in the

National Football League.

That player, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, the reigning offensive player of the year,

Jackson, Smith, and Jagba.

He is now, JSM, the highest paid receiver in the NFL, signing a four-year, $168 million contract extension, $120 million guaranteed.

So, JSN signing a new long-term contract to stay in Seattle for the foreseeable future.

The Seahawks had just picked up his fifth-year option and also the fifth-year option of cornerback, Devin Witherspoon, who you would imagine Seattle is also going to try to sign to a long-term deal this offseason. But J.S.N, the deal is done. He was never going to leave Seattle. Good job by John Schneider and the Seahawks making this move. And I think, and I said this to start the show, right, we are today, one month away.

Today is March 23rd. April 23rd is round one of the 2006 NFL draft. So we're one month

away from like the next big thing on the NFL calendar. I think the Seattle Seahawks are a fascinating team over the course of the next month

and obviously into the draft and even coming out of the draft.
