Jaws is absolutely one of my favorite movies, if not my favorite movie. I do watch it every

single year, at least one time. It's a great summer movie, right? I'm glad we could do this during the summer

when you get it in. And genuinely, there is something to learn as a writer with every viewing

of it. So I'm thrilled to have our guests here today. We'll talk about how Jaws is a perfect

engine later, that all it does is swim and eat.

It's a story machine. There are no extra scenes in it. There's humor, there's character, there's drama, there's pathos, there's danger and excitement.

And we'll talk about all of this stuff

and how it came to be.
