That movie is based on the Peter Benchley novel of the same name about a huge killer Great White Shark terrorizing the island community of Amity. Review of Jaws Jaws is Jaws. It’s pretty much the shark movie, every other shark movie is compared to, and for good reason, it’s the best one! There are many imitators, but none live up to its example. This film is great at portraying a known, but not fully respected actual killing machine. But what makes the movie great is the skill of the direction, and the great acting of the principle cast.
