It sounds hair-brained and alarmist to say that shadowy figures are plotting a coup against an elected US President. But that's why you start out by casting doubt on whether he was even elected in the first place. It's all part of the playbook -- a literal Playbook -- that operatives within and affiliated with the US State Dept have used for decades now to overthrow foreign regimes who don't bend the knee to the United States. We've seen it just recently in a number of eastern European nations, specifically Ukraine and Belarus.
