On the day brand and Iewk's trade request became public, the 49ers had a little more news at the wide receiver position.

Rookie receiver, Ricky Piercaw, reported to training camp in Santa Clara with a non-football injury designation. The rookies will take part in a full week of

conditioning before the veterans come to town next week. Jennifer Lee Chan and I will kick

around what it all means.

Also, former Philadelphia Eagles Center, Jason Kelsey has retired.

The rookies will have kind of another layer of foundation conditioning to get ready.

But the news, I guess, Jennifer, was that Ricky

Pier saw reports and the Fortners place him on the non-football injury list.

Yeah, interesting. I wonder what type of injury it is. I know I don't have any

information more detail about it at all, but do recall that he was wearing the
