who they are and why they do what they do. Today we are joined by actor, writer, comedian,

and recent app muscle enthusiast, Jared Goldstein. Hi Jared. Hi Jinx.

You did it. I know was that was that the toughest cold read you've ever had to do.

I mean I've listened to too many episodes of this podcast and I'm going to say no one,

no one has no one said hi Jinx quite as well as I just did and it's really amazing. You don't

see that kind of performance every day. The play on words really came through and you're

in delivery. But also I didn't push it. I just threw it away. It was so like it was just so in the

pocket, would you say it's this sense of bravado, this unyielding confidence that's gotten you

where you are today. No, no, no, no, no, it's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's like extreme

intensity, extreme fear, absolute desperation hidden behind the facade. I literally

well put together. I literally figured out like probably three years ago that I could pretend

to be so, so confident and it would make me laugh and then I would actually just feel relaxed.

And I was like, wow, isn't that a novel idea that I could just pretend to be so arrogant and

confident that it would just snap me out of feeling not confident. I mean that's what drag is.
