0:00.0	Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. Welcome to another true crime and make-up video.
0:04.0	Today we're going to be covering the case of Nevada Tan. And we're going to a different country today.
0:08.0	We're going to go to Japan, my first Japanese case. And I do get a lot of requests from you guys to do cases from your countries.
0:15.0	And I would love to start doing cases from more different countries, not just the UK and the US.
0:20.0	And this case got a lot of attention.
0:22.8	I feel like a lot of cases get a lot of attention and it's always for the wrong reasons.
0:26.6	It's because of the age of the person we're going to be talking about today. And she was just
0:32.2	11 years old. She's so young. And when someone is that young, there is always going to be a lot of attention surrounding the case.
0:40.3	But unfortunately, as some of these cases do, the case turned into somewhat of an internet sensation.
0:47.3	There were memes created about Nevada, about this case. There was even people dressing up and impersonating the killer. And the hoodie
0:55.0	that the girl was wearing at the time of the case was a Nevada hoodie. And the University of Nevada
1:00.2	actually had to stop selling that hoodie because demand went through the roof because of this case.
1:06.4	So Nevada Tan was born on the 21st of November 1992, which means she was a Scorpio.
1:13.4	And Nevada was only 11 years old when this horrific murder happened.
1:19.1	And because of how young she was when this happened, her identity was kept from the public.
1:25.4	And this is because of Japan's legal procedures that prohibit the
1:29.1	identification of juvenile offenders. So initially, and for a lot of the sources I use for this
1:34.7	video, she's referred to as Girl A. But then the internet, of course the internet came along.
1:40.6	The internet gave her the nickname of Nevada Tarn and she's referred to as Nevada Tarn in a lot of
1:46.1	sources as well or just Nevada. So in this video I will be referring to Girl A as Nevada Tarn or Nevada.
1:53.4	I just found like it was easier to follow if we actually gave her a name instead of saying Girl A all
1:59.3	the time. This case takes place in Sasebo Nagasaki in Japan.
