sprint to the finish, where the House-like committee investigating the Capitol insurrection

members of the panel meeting today as their deadline fast approaches to share their

findings with the public, but the committee is also weighing whether or not to make criminal

referrals to the Justice Department, including a referral former President Donald Trump,

for their actions around the deadly riot.

And as the committee plans its final steps, Donald Trump is proving that he has apparently

learned absolutely nothing from that horrific day, speaking last night at an event in support

of the jailed Capitol insurrectionists who are among other things, Mr. Trump said this.
