Summary

The House Select Committee investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol has issued a subpoena for former President Trump’s White House Counsel Pat Cipollone. The subpoena comes just a day after Cassidy Hutchinson, an aide to former White House chief of Staff Mark Meadows, testified in front of the panel that Cipollone warned Meadows “blood’s going to be on your f*cking hands” if nothing was done to stop the mob. Democratic Rep. Zoe Lofgren is a member of the committee. She tells Anderson Cooper she thinks it’s “very important” Cipollone comes in and answers the panel’s questions. 0:08.3	In a moment, we'll be joined by California Congresswoman and committee members, O'Loughgren.
0:12.5	Sepoloni, as you know, was a prominent part of Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony yesterday

0:17.8	He repeatedly warned White House officials of the legal danger they and the president
0:21.6	were courting, but he has so far refused to testify.
0:25.4	So of course, as former White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, despite having already
0:29.0	been subpoenaed and then cited for contempt of Congress for refusing to appear in

0:35.6	Meadows, who's one of the former president's closest advisors in the run up to January
0:39.3	6th in correction, prevailed to nearly every major decision leading up to and during that

0:45.7	According to the testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson, his top aide Meadows appears to have
0:49.6	been at the center of the scheme to overturn the election, yet almost willfully remote
0:53.9	from the consequences as it all came unraveled.
0:57.1	When he's six-year-old Cassidy Hutchinson was brave enough, patriotic enough to come
1:00.9	forward 62-year-old Mark Meadows is not.
