In Nevada, police received a 911 call from a woman who stated that her friend phoned

her about an accidental shooting.

In Alabama, a man was arrested for the death of a child back in November 24.

And in Indiana, a man was arrested after shooting his pregnant wife and an attempted murder suicide.

On the morning of Sunday, January 19th, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department

received a concerning 911 call from a woman who claimed that her friend called her and stated that he had accidentally shot his girlfriend in the head.

The woman stated that at around 7.30 a.m., 24-year-old Julio Machado Vasquez called her and asked for her help in disposing of his girlfriend's body.

While on the call, dispatch tried gathering more

information from the woman. She stated that when Julio first called her, he seemed to be quite

panicked and was rambling on about his brother being in prison for shooting someone, and then

went on the state, quote, It happened to me, but it was an accident. Julio apparently told

his friend that he and his girlfriend, 24-year-old Celine Perez, were driving

around in his car that morning when Celine allegedly took his gun, which prompted him to grab it from her.

Julio told his friend that he believed the safety on the gun was on when he was trying to demonstrate

something to Celine. But that's when the gun allegedly went off, which ended up striking her in the
