Good morning, everyone.

The Simple Handicap for Wednesday, January 26th.

Thank you for making me a part of your morning.

And yesterday there was no podcast because quite simply there was just nothing to update.

And today there's a little bit to talk about, but it's, again, it's a very difficult week as the podcast winds down to really give a lot of value on a daily basis in the morning when you're just talking about the markets and the way that they have been moving.

So I elected not to do the pod yesterday.

And I don't think I'll do one tomorrow either and I'll come back Friday for the wrap-up before ending the podcast for the season on Monday

with my initial thoughts and look ahead to the Super Bowl. When I said update, there was one. The Cincinnati,

Kansas City total was bet up a little bit further last night at Circa. They went to 55. Chris followed.

Bet online hasn't yet gone that far. We'll see what Pinnacle does a little bit later today. But then we saw the other books, Superbook Sports

in Las Vegas, go to 55. We saw some regulated books. Follow that direction as well. So there was

a buy at Circa on the over, which ultimately pulled up a number of other

places on the board to get to 55. So we're now at the highest point of that total. When we think

back to the bet thread, took over 53 and a half shortly after open on Sunday evening. So getting

ahead there. And we'll see because again, like with these numbers, they're so high and it's the

playoff game that you're going to have people just naturally buying the under because

they see mid-50s, they see playoffs.

They end up going the other way.

But that's where we're at right now.

Don't think this was necessarily news related either.
