Hi friends. I am Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories of Jesus Christ life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. So here's how this works, so I'm going to read one chapter to you today.

You can listen or read along in your own Bible and then I'll mention a

first or an idea that stood out to me and then I'll pray and that's it.

Today is a fun day because for the first time this year we're finishing a book

where you're finishing the book of John today we will finishing the book of John today. We will start the book of

Mark tomorrow. This is a great time to invite a friend to jump in with us as we

start the book of Mark. So just hit share on your phone wherever you're

Today is January 21st, and I'll be reading John 21 in the NIV.

John 21.

Afterward, Jesus appeared again to his disciples by the sea of Galilee.

It happened this way.

Simon Peter, Thomas, known as Didymus, Nathaniel from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.

I'm going out to fish, Simon Peter told them and they said, we'll go with you.

So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

Early in the morning Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.

He called out to them, friends, haven't you any fish?
