Today we're covering the discovery of Julieieama Sans body in a New York well.

Let's go back to a patch of New York swampland known as Lispennard Meadow on Thursday, January 2nd, early in the morning.

It was cold out and the boy wished he was inside where it was measurably warmer.

Instead he had been tasked with the chore of retrieving water from the well near his house. He lowered the bucket into the water, huffing in the

frigid air, and willing his arms to move faster. After what seemed like an age, he successfully hauled the bucket over the rim of the well.

But when he looked down, he saw that he'd pulled up more than just water from the depths.

There, floating at the bucket's top

was what looked like a dead animal, repulsed and fascinated,

the boy poked at the wet and bedraggled fur.
