Timothy Good.

0:24.8

I've been following your work for many years,

0:30.1

and I'm curious, what drew you to the UFO subject in the first place?

0:42.3

Well, I've always been mad about space travel and aviation since, as long as I can remember, actually. So when an American cousin gave me a book called The Flying Sources Are Real by Major Donald Kehoe, I really took note because there were

0:48.2

so many sightings reported by military and civilian pilots, frequently confirmed by air traffic controllers via radar, of course.

0:56.7

So that's it, and I haven't looked back since.

0:59.4

And then later on, that was back in 1955, so it's 52 years ago.

1:04.6

Yeah, 52 years ago about.

1:07.5

And then a few years later, I read the book by Captain Edward Ruppelt, who had

1:12.9

headed Project Blue Book, the first Project Blue Book. And that astounded me even more, because

1:19.4

he was this Air Force intelligence officer writing soberly about astounding reports from

1:25.3

military and civilian pilots. So that's it, and I've been hooked ever since.

1:29.8

Hmm. You know, it's funny. Coincidental. I was 11 years old, and my brother leaves on his

1:35.2

coffee table a copy of one of Kehoe's books, Flying Saucers from Outer Space. I read the book

1:41.4

at 11 years of age, and I was hooked. And here I am about 400 years of age and I was hooked.

1:44.4

And here I am about 400 years later and I'm still carrying on and still doing this

1:48.7

thing.

1:49.7

Now having read that book, you got kind of really interested in this thing, but at what

1:53.5

point did you say, you know what?

1:54.7

I'm going to start researching.

1:56.3

I'm going to write books on the subject, whatever.
