Hi friends, I am Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books

of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories of Jesus Christ's

life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. We will read

three chapters a day and finish in 30 days, so each month we'll read all four books. So go ahead

well done. We started with the book of John. Now we'll jump into Luke. I'll read you three

So today is January 10th, day 10 and I'll be reading Luke chapter 7 through 9 and the translation

I am reading from this month is NIV 84. Chapter 7, the faith of the Centurion. When Jesus

had finished saying all this and the hearing of the people, he entered cappernum there a Centurion

servant whom his master valued highly was sick and about to die. The Centurion heard of Jesus

and sent some elders of the Jews to him asking him to come and heal his servant. When they came to

but say the word and my servant will be healed. For I myself, a man under authority,

was soldiers under me. I tell this one go and he goes and that one come and he comes. I say to my

servant, do this and he does it. When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him and turning to the crowd

following him. He said, I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel.

Then the men who had been sent returned to the house and found the servant well.
