Hello and welcome to the latest episode of full disclosure. It will be part of the special lockdown editions and as a project conceived originally to let me spend a little bit more time with people than is ordinarily available.

I'm delighted to tell you that my guest this week is the comedian Janie Godley,

who is at the other end of the country, but also somehow right next to me.

Janie, how you doing? I'm great. Beautiful sunny Scotland. I'm in my bedroom with a window

open, fighting off the blue bottles. How are you finding the lockdown?

Actually, it's quite good because that sounds weird.

It sounds as though I'm enjoying it.

I'm not.

Elements of it.

Yeah, well, there is an element of it.

I quite enjoy being at home and doing work from home.

I'm a writer and I do a lot of videos at home.

So it's been okay because my husband and my daughter Ashley Story, we're both stand-ups and creatives and we've always worked together from home as a family.

So it kind of just feels like we're on a really extended weird caravan holiday and we're just getting to the bit where we're ready to throw a pot at each other but we're going it in.

Has it been productive? Has it been a creative period for you? How many foreign languages have you learned?

Just the swearing in Scottish very loudly. It hasn't been creative and it has. I mean, for instance,

last November I got a new book deal and I can't write the book. I can't get my head into that

space to write the book because I have five mini panics every day like everybody else. Every day I go,

oh, this is great. I get a day off. Are we all going to die? This is

wonderful. What if I catch coronavirus and my daughter dies? So I can't do that. But in the other

hand, I've been making videos every single day. I was doing one just there and uploaded it. And
