I'm a Los Angeles native. I was born here. I've lived here all my life except for a four-year period in the mid-80s when I went to be a reporter in Albuquerque

and then in Miami. So, you know, other than 83 to 87, I have lived in Southern California my

entire life. And one reason why I stay and I pay all these taxes and I put up with all this, all these shenanigans is because of the

weather. And you know, to be a weather forecaster traditionally in Los Angeles, you would say

this every day. We're going to have, you know, some morning, morning fog or clouds. It'll clear up

by the afternoon. Highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s, rinse and repeat.

It's like that, you know, like 340 days a year. But now, you know, we've had, I don't,

today is day 10. I don't even know what it is of this ridiculously hot weather. And then we're

getting these rains that could cause mudslides.

And, you know, fire season used to just be in like October.

And it has me really questioning that it is God punishing California.
