Trump signs a sweeping crypto executive order and Jane Street allegedly dumped $192 million worth of

President Trump signed an executive order directing regulators to integrate digital assets into

traditional payment and financial services rails. It also asks the Federal Reserve

to review how non-bank firms get access to payment accounts. This could benefit firms like Crackin,

which already won limited master account access earlier this year. The Ethereum Foundation is

facing a wave of high-profile departures and the crypto community is asking what's actually going on.

Critics on X are demanding more transparency

about how decisions are made inside the organization.

Battalic Buteran has previously defended the foundation, arguing it's meant to support Ethereum,

not controlling. And Jane Street allegedly used a private telegram back channel with Terraform

Labs insiders to dump $192 million of UST before the collapse.

Court filings claims the firm exited its full UST position on May 7, 2022.

Jane Street then allegedly made $134 million shorting Terra as the $40 billion ecosystem unraveled.

Jane Street calls the suit, quote, baseless and is moving to dismiss.
