I first fell in love with my guest, Jay Lynch, when I saw her playing Richard Kimball's only defender in The Fugitive.

A movie that happened to be the film debut of Lester Holt, by the way.

Was it really?

He's the reporter in that movie.

And now he is gone to Great Heights. He's been on Hollywood Game.

As have you, as is my Emmy winning guest.

well, you may know, of course, from Gleon, but she's now doing cabaret show, C, Jane Singh,

which will be at the Annaberg on May 1st. And there's something about you that feels like so

much of a self-starter. The way you work, it's often a way, that kind of moment of exuberance, the life that a performer gets in her eye just before they break into song and a musical.

I love that.

I love that analogy.

But you know what I mean?

I mean, that's clearly something that touched you as a kid, wasn't it?
