Hello and welcome to Storytime for grownups.

I'm Faith Moore, and this season we're reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

Each episode, I'll read one chapter from the book,

pausing from time to time to give brief explanations so it's easier to follow along.

It's like an audiobook with built-in notes.

So brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair,

and settle in. It's story time. It is episode 33. How far we have come, right? Chapter 23 was Rochester's proposal to Jane. And here we are now at chapter 33, and so much has changed for Jane,

presumably for Rochester, and for us, I think. I have been getting letters and letters and letters,

and I am so grateful for them. I'm always excited to see one of your letters in my inbox,

and so many things that people are thinking about

right now. And I've, after last episode, I've gotten a lot of people telling me which camp they're in.

You know, I'm in, I'm team, get back with Rochester. I'm team. Jane should move on entirely.

I'm team in the middle, you know, and I love that. I can't wait to get through the rest of this story with you so

that you can see what happens. But of course, I'm also sad because then it will mean it's over.

But more will happen even after we finished the book, and I'm excited to share all of that with you.
