Tonight I'll be reading Part 10, Chapter 17 and 18 of Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen.

In the previous chapters, Isabella reveals her engagement to Catherine's brother, and also learns that the Clifton outing was a letdown, without a visit

to Blaze Castle. Catherine is later disappointed by the Tilney's reserved behaviour during her visit,

which Isabella blames on their pride. Captain Tilney, Henry's brother, is later introduced and surprisingly

dances with the now engaged Isabella. The chapters conclude with the news of James's

modest inheritance, leading Isabella to subtly complain about the small income.

Now that we're caught up with the story so far, let's get ourselves ready for sleep.
