of our interview with Jan Broberg, kidnapping survivor and subject of the peacock documentary,

Friend of the Family True Evil, plus these scripted series that accompanies it, Friend of the

Family. She's gonna talk about how Robert Birch told continued to seduce her mother to get to

Jan, and about the second time he abducted Jan from her family, keeping her hidden for several

months in Southern California. She'll tell us about how brainwash she was, even after she was

returned home, how Birch told continued to try to intimidate her family, and the moments that

helped her realize he'd been lying to her at the whole time. Yeah, she will. You know, those are

some of the most interesting parts of every story. I always want to know, like, what were the things

that kind of like made you realize? What were the straws that broke the camel's back? You know,

and I do think hers are really interesting. I mean, yeah, there is that beautiful one moment in

here when it kind of all collapses all at once, which is my favorite kind of story. I love a good

collapse. Me too, especially when it's the collapse of a negative belief system. Exactly.
