Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, police and Ottawa are searching for a suspect in Wednesday's

downtown shooting which left one person dead and three seriously wounded.

In Alabama, the second trial of Colby Lewis began on Monday.

Lewis is facing burglary and rape charges for a 2016 gunpoint attack on a University

of Alabama student.

Finally, in Toronto, former pastor, Philip Grandin, was sentenced to 15 years for the 2011

manslaughter of his wife, Chris, who was 20 weeks pregnant at the time of her death.

The judge found that Grandin had been sneaking anti-exitied medications into the victim's

food, leading her to drown in a bathtub.

Police in Ottawa are searching for a suspect in a shooting that happened on Wednesday morning

in the downtown area.

Police responded to a house on Gilmore Street at 7.30 a.m. after a report of shots fired.

They found four gunshot victims inside the house, one of which was pronounced dead at

the scene.

The surviving victims were all transported to hospitals.

One of the victims, a 15 year old boy, is now in stable condition at Children's Hospital

of Eastern Ontario.

The other two victims are in critical condition at an Ottawa hospital.
