Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, a late-night stabbing spree and downtown Colorado Springs

leaves 8 people injured.

In Sacramento, California, a man's body was discovered, hanging from a tree branch near

a highway.

The death is considered suspicious.

A couple who allegedly kidnapped their seriously ill, newborn daughter from Louisiana Hospital,

where she was waiting for a life-saving treatment, have been captured 400 miles away in Alabama.

Finally, in Kentucky, a woman was charged with murder after allegedly assaulting her friend

and encouraging her dog to attack him.

Reports that a man went on an overnight stabbing spree in downtown Colorado Springs on Monday,

stabbing 8 people in less than an hour.

At around 1.30am, officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a call

at 8th and limit streets where they found the first two victims.

These victims told the police that their attacker seemed delirious and that he ran away

in the direction of the walking trails that lead to America the beautiful park.

While searching the trails for the suspect, officers came upon more victims.

Sergeant Peterson from the Colorado Springs Police Department told News 11, quote,
