Well, I love this from Psalm 139, verses 7 to 10. Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?

If I go up to the heavens, you are there. If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

If I rise on the wings of dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there, your hand will guide me. Love this.

Your right hand will hold me fast. Can somebody just give me an amen? That is so powerful.

That passage brings me so much comfort. But what are we to do with the times when God seems silent

or even distant or even uninvolved in our lives where you're praying, praying,

crying out to God appealing for help and it's crickets. What do you do about that? Is he close and just

being quiet? Has he distanced himself from us? Is he testing us, teaching us, training us?
