And I'm Amanda Allen. And today we are joined by our very first guest Jamie Denboo

So just a reminder of what the fuck this is all about.

So the point of this podcast is to make you feel less alone.

We're all going to share a story of something our children did that drove us to drink.

One thing I was thinking about in the last week was like, what do I want anyone listening

to understand about this podcast and I was thinking,

you know when you're like in a public place like a grocery store and you hear a child

screaming and you're like, oh God is that my kid or like oh God is that my kid and then you

look and your kid is fine and you're like that's what I want this

podcast to be.

Like the Schoddenfroyd relief, like enjoyment of hearing someone else's

bolt like shit show.

Yes, exactly.

I want you to feel better.

Yes, we're all a train wreck and it's going to be okay.

Yeah.

Yeah. Yep.

I feel like, uh...

We don't talk about that, I have a six-year-old little boy and then twin three-year-old girls
