Thanks for having me.

I've been trying to figure out where to start with this.

And somehow my gut keeps telling me to start with this.

And this is such a random thing.

You directed one of my favorite scenes in the L Word.

It was a cold open in season five in which I don't, let me know if you remember this scene. Was it like every character making out with another character? Yes. It's like this fantasy

sequence where they're running through different pairings like Shane and Bet, Bet and Helena, Tina and

Shane. I just have to start and we're going to run through all of your credits and like a lightning round at the end, but I'm fascinated by this scene. How did you approach this?

I remember at the time there was this really cool gap ad of a bunch. I think Spike Jones directed it of a bunch of couples dancing. And it was just like a white background and really cool dancing.

And I was like, let's just do it like that where it's really simple background, just a white space.

And then it was written that all of these different couplings are happening.

And I remember at the table read when the actors read that,

they were like, oh, God, because a lot of them were really good friends at that point.

And so it's like playing Spin the Bottle where you have to like make out with your friends,

which feels like your sister and it's really creepy and weird.
