I'm very excited today because we've never had a guest quite like this one.

I'm talking about James von Praagh, the world famous spiritual medium and best-selling author.

I love his book, Talking to Heaven, and I had the honor of making a film with my wife, Mary, based on his life, so I got to spend a lot of time with James.

Wherever you land on the subject of spirituality and our ability to communicate with the beyond,

I think we can all learn something from this.

Just so you know, Mary, which we'll bring up a lot. My wife, Mary Steenbergen, for, well, everyone who tunes in ever knows that, because I talk about her all the time, but sends her love. Thank you. And I send it back. And she's the reason why we're sitting here. Yeah, it's a weird story. It's a weird story. Can you just to establish how weird we're going to go, can I just quickly tell that part? Yeah. You know the part about the airplane.

How many years ago? And she never talks to people, and it was like your father pushed her. Yep. Or Thea. Or Thea. I think probably. And it was how many years? That was 2001, maybe? Yeah. And you're right. She loves the airplane because she can do nothing and be answerable to nothing.

No kid or husband can reach her, right?

How are the kids, by the way? The kids are. Everybody's fantastic, including grandchildren, five of which we have.
