Welcome everybody to me time. I hope you all had a lovely week. I hope you found some

0:22.6

time to have some me time for yourself. Please share with us if you did and tag us on social

media so we can repost the stories and see what everybody's doing and how they're spending

0:32.0

their time. I am so excited about this week's guest. Well this is someone I know very, very

0:37.5

well. One of my dearest and closest friends, James Rode, Rodrigues. And he, I feel like

0:44.6

really gets me time. He actually, I think, it describes it better than I do. We had such

0:50.9

a nice chat and I'm so excited for you all to listen and get to know him a little better

0:56.1

and enjoy the two of us having a really good time. First off, before we get to James, I'm

1:01.7

going to maybe start a little thing where I talk about Miami Time over the last week

1:06.7

and fun things I discovered or did. Miami Time over the last week, I would say, was

1:12.6

majority was taken up with, I wish I could consider a great way to spend me time, was

1:17.6

connecting with family. I went home to my hometown, Louisville, Kentucky, and saw my family

1:24.9

and had a really nice time and also visited the theater where I grew up doing plays and

1:32.4

ran into some old friends that absolutely warmed my heart, touched my soul, but who were

1:37.8

such a big part of me doing what I do. I did my first play at the theater when I was

1:43.4

10. It's a dinner theater and I just want to kind of shout them out. It's called the

1:48.6

Derby Dinner Playhouse and I really feel like I grew up in this theater and this is where

1:53.9

I learned to and sort of found what I wanted to do. So much of it was shaped by these incredible

2:00.4

people that were always so supportive and kind and helpful and always willing to give

2:06.7

constructive criticism and help me be better and they were also so loving in the process

2:12.6

and it was so nice to go back. I even got to see a couple of old friends but also to just

2:18.2

see a show and experience how special that theater is and how talented everyone there
