It didn't take much research to find the soundbite of the association. Let's move on. It didn't take much research to find the sound bite of the week

because it's obviously James Harden. I love him. He's constant entertainment. The soundbites never

stop for him, but we know whenever James Hardin goes to a new team, that's when the sound bites are the

best. He decided he was going to burn the bridge, pretty much all the way up, which is what you would expect from James, when he had this to say. I don't think, when I'm in a leash, I'm not going to just shooting the basketball every time. I'm like, I'm a, like, I think the game,

and I'm a crater on the court, you know what I mean? So if I got a voice to work, then, hey, coach, I see this, you know, what you're thinking about this, then it's like, all right, hey, somebody that trusts me that believes and me, that understands me that I'm just not a, you know, I'm not a system player. I am a system. You know what I mean?

So somebody that can have that dialogue with me and understand and move forward and figure out and make adjustments on the flag throughout the course of games.

I really care about. You know, it's not about me scoring a basketball. I'm scoring a 34 points. I'm done an area. So that's what I meant by that. I am not a system player. I am a system player. It's like I'm not a business man. I'm a business man. It's like kind of a little bit whack. I feel like it's a little bit of a revisionist history for James Harden to say, well, I was on a leash. I didn't get what I needed.

I wasn't being discussed things with. I wasn't able to make decisions. People weren't trusting me.

They literally gave James Hardin the ball every time. He had the ball every possession.

And even Joelle and B was like, what is he talking about? We let him run the offense the way he wanted to run it.

He led the NBA and assist last year.

His usage rate was 25%, which is right around Nicole Yokes' usage percentage.

They facilitate.

He was the hub of the wheel.

So I am not so sure. It was very funny, though. That part wasn't as funny

to me as the fact that when he was talking about why I was on a leash, I'm not a system player.

He's really talking about Doc Rivers' system being high key trash. Like he is basically saying Doc Rivers, I hated playing for him.
