Recapping Thursday night football and looking ahead to week 13.

little conversation prior to this, to starting to record off the air about some of the

really interesting running back spots and I know any of our listeners that are still out there

are probably thinking about the Jets back field the Niners back field we're going to get into

all of that our thoughts on where those teams are,

where they might be headed, some other really key decisions the rest of the way. But one backfield

that you can't act on for week 13 at least, but was very interesting, came on the Thursday

night game where we saw the flip a little bit. Maybe not, you know, an entire flip. Obviously, Devin Singletarrier still gets a short touchdown. He still gets, you know, a lot of snaps, a lot of touches. But we've kind of been anticipating that James Cook might work in more. It hasn't been happening. Singletarer has been playing 70% plus of the snaps every week week after week after weekend still in signals that on writing a little bit like

you would typically look at this and say this is a trend but i'm kind of still waiting for the

other shoot a drop on this six straight weeks he had played at least 70% of the snaps he falls to

44% here which isn't really a knock on singletary. The bill's obviously like him, but they were ready, I think, finally, to turn James Cook loose a little bit. I mean, maybe it was a short week. Maybe that played a little bit into it. But Cook ends up playing just one fewer snap than Singletary, 44%, 43%, 33 snaps, 32 snaps, basically a 50-50 split.

We also seen Neheem Hines in this game bump up to his largest offensive role by a lot.

31% of the offensive snaps.

He's basically not been playing.

I mean, his high with Buffalo has been 15% of the snaps.

He's all the way up at 31% in this game, plays on some passing downs.

Very interesting.
