Today we continue with our series on Explorers James Cook.

So last time we wrapped up Cook's epic first voyage in which he circumnavigated the world.

Cook had done some pretty impressive things.

Let's do a rundown.

One, he had reached Tahiti and explored the surrounding society, Islands.

Two, he had been the first European to reach New Zealand after able Tasman,

and had circumnavigated the two main islands, proving it was not part of Tarar Australia.

And three, speaking of Tarar Australia, he had ventured south of New Zealand

and found no evidence of the hidden southern continent.

Four, he had become the first European to reach Eastern Australia

and proceeded to map almost the entire Eastern coastline.

Five, he had gone through the Torres Strait, which separates Australia and New Guinea,

and proved the two landmasses were not connected.

And finally, he had continued back to England, circumnavigating the world.

That is pretty amazing stuff.
