Today we start a new series, one that many of you have been asking for for a long time.

And that is on British Explorer, Captain James Cook.

Cook is one of the most famous explorers in history.

And to be honest, I don't know if any person traveled as far or mapped as much as our English Mariner.

He would lead three voyages of exploration in the 1770s, mostly in the Pacific,

traveling between the Arctic and the Antarctic, his expeditions being some of the most important of the era.

Due to how much he accomplished and a lot of documentation, this promises to be a beast of a series,

so get prepared for a long run over the next few months.

One, if you have not listened to the Abel Tasman series, I recommend doing so as it really sets us up for our series on Cook.
