And the FBI director, James Comey, got indicted yesterday,

the charge making a false statement, obstruction, related to testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee five years ago.

I am here. Yeah, this seems like ancient history to people, but folks will remember there were all these arguments that Donald Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 Hillary election.

And FBI director James Comey was involved in that. A few years later, he's up in front of the U.S. Senate, and Ted Cruz is questioning him.

And Cruz says, hey, when you were

running that whole deal, did you authorize one of your FBI guys to anonymously speak to the press

to kind of badmouthed Trump? And Comey said, no, Senator, I didn't do that. Well, the DOJ, the Department

of Justice thinks they have the goods and they convinced the grand jury to

indict Comey for lying to Congress.

He could go to prison for several years if he's convicted.

Just for that, huh?

Just for denying, he told somebody to leak to the Wall Street Journal?

Yeah, because it involves perjury when you're, you take an oath, you're in front of the

U.S. Senate, and it's just like lying in a regular courtroom. If you lie, it isn't just a fib,

it's perjury, and he could get five years just for that. Plus, they've added an obstruction

charge as well to him. So this has, this has nothing to do with all his actions that led to this Russian hoax story that went on for so many years.
