misunderstanding in this age of Trump, almost from the very beginning,

a misunderstanding of who and what he is.

And there's always been this hope from almost the beginning,

because Trump is so bad, he's so dishonest, he's so cruel, he's so un-American. He's so psychopathic. He's so ignorant. There's always been a hope

that something or somebody else would take him down. The courts would take him down.

A few Republicans would stand up and take him down.

He'd do something so bad and so stupid, he'd be impeached and convicted, and that would get rid of him.

There's always been the desire, the hope among so many that somebody else, something else

would get rid of Trump instead of us.

And there's always been this misunderstanding that he's unlike any other political figure we've ever seen, certainly in my lifetime.

He is a cult leader.

He's the leader of a cult.

I was a Republican my whole life up until five years ago. He's the leader of a cult.

I was a Republican my whole life up until five years ago.

Then I was an independent for five years.

Now I've been a Democrat for six months.
