One-year deal, you know, as soon as the Giants released him, it just made so much sense. And, you know, even before they released him,

they were trying to trade him.

How he played it right.

He didn't have to give up anything to get him.

It's riskier to let a guy hit free agency than make a trade, but I think he felt confident

he was going to be able to pull it off and he did one year deal a lot of money 10 million relatively

but this is a guy who did not play as well last year as he did in his pro bowl season in 2020,

but he's still so much better than what they had,

so much better than there are other options

at that position.

And the way I look at it, Dave,

the biggest thing is you're not signing him to be CB1 if you were then maybe you'd be like you know I'm not sure he's he's that player right now
