The Lord Jesus had 12 original disciples, but those men were just the first of many more followers of Christ.

0:14.0

They are an example for us to learn from and a reminder that God works in ordinary people.

Are you a true follower of Jesus Christ?

0:22.6

Let's study The 12 with Scott Pauli today

0:25.6

and find truth that will help us all to follow more closely to Christ. When the Lord Jesus comes into a life, he changes that life.

You can't have contact with the creator of the universe, the holy God, and be the same.

The Bible says, if any man be in Christ, he's a new creature. Old things are

passed away. Behold, all things are become new. And one of the disciples that I think

1:39.4

James and John, and you have two brothers, Andrew and Peter. Interesting. And both of them are fishermen.

1:45.5

1:50.4

where the Bible says, and Jesus walking by the sea of Galilee saw two brethren, Simon called Peter,

1:55.4

and Andrew's brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishers. And he saith unto them,

2:00.6

follow me, and I will make you fishers of men,

2:03.3

and they straightway left their nets and followed him.

So we've seen this already.
