Wealth, status, social standing position, appearance, nothing, nothing matters except that all men coming to the Lord Jesus Christ and worshiping together the Lord in harmony because of his love and his grace and his mercy and the peace that he gives to us.

He's talking to everyone who has faith in Jesus Christ.

Well, it's great to have you with us for our continuing series in the book of James.

Today, Roll will explore how empty religion relegates God to the outskirts of a person's

mind and heart, while genuine faith impacts every aspect of a true believer's life. Keep listening to hear that as you

mirror that unconditional love. Let's listen as Roll Rees begins. The book of James has really

exhorted me personally.

I have to read it.

I have to study it.

And then I have to share it with you.

And I hope that you're reading it and studying it.

So when you come here, the Lord is ministering to you in the same way.

Because one of the things about the book of James as we've been studying it is that James is going to be talking about Christian faith that can only work through the love of God.

Christian faith that can only work to the love of God.

And these are the two aspects of faith that are discussed in this chapter that we're going to be studying in a

moment. The basic idea is that true faith, or the true Bible faith, is not dead, but it reveals

itself in God's love for us, as we will see in chapter 2, verses 1 through 13. And then when there's true faith working through love,

then there's true works in the life of that person
