Summary

Matt and Jim are joined by light heavyweight title challenger Jamahal Hill and bantamweight contender Marlon “Chito” Vera on today’s episode of UFC Unfiltered — the last one of 2022! Set to hop back in the cage in exactly a month, Jamahal talks fighting outside of the United States for the first time in his professional career as he passionately defends the UFC’s decision to place him in the vacant light heavyweight title fight against Glover Teixeira at UFC 283 in Brazil. Chito joins the show with some breaking news that he has accepted a fight for February against another one of his fellow highly-ranked bantamweight contenders. He and coach Jason Parillo wrap up the interview by talking about the Ecuadorian martial artist’s training regimen and plan to hold off on a rematch against Sean O’Malley until it’s for the bantamweight title.
