0:09.0

Andy Slater and Jacob Dylan. They are here to talk about a really cool in the documentary that

0:14.6

enjoyed a lot called Echo in the Canyon. It's about the Laurel Canyon scene of

0:18.5

the 60s. It also includes the making of a bunch of covers of the Laurel County music that Jacob did with a truly all-star crew,

0:26.4

ranging from Eric Clapton and Stephen Stills to Fiona Apple and Beck.

0:30.7

Just seeing you guys do the music are some of the best parts of the

0:33.4

documentary but then there's interviews with everyone from David Crosby to

0:36.3

Ringo Starr to Roger McGuin who seemed to be one of the most fruitful interviews

1:09.0

But really, I give you a recommendation. If you do get a chance to interview you know someone like

1:13.7

Brian Wilson all you really do have to do is just stay out of the way that's right you

1:17.3

know create a situation where they feel like they can talk about whatever's on

1:19.7

their mind and then just kind of shut up totally And the impetus for this movie kind of came from the album.

1:25.0

Was that what happened or was it all one idea?

1:27.0

How did that come about it?

1:28.0

Andy, you're the director.

1:30.0

Well, I think it started with where we were in our lives at that time.
