I have a random question to start off the bat.

I was listening to the

new record and the singles that are out, and you're from Texas, correct? Yes, ma'am. But you have a

song on there called, it's about Oklahoma. My home is in, my home is Oklahoma. It sure is. So,

how does that go with being Texas? You know, it goes just fine for me.

I reckon I ain't running no trouble over it.

No, you know, growing up there being born and raised there,

you kind of raise your family of your own and die there.

But I met my wife out in Oklahoma. And, you know, lo and behold for about,

I don't know, four or five years, I was going out to Oklahoma to hunting fish and write songs.

And, you know, I found peace out there. I still do.

I usually ask people about their, you know, marriages, their love life later on, but since you brought it up, how did you end up meeting your wife?

Deer hunting.

Yep.

I was, I went and did my first bear hunt out in Carolina.

I was picking with a guitar player out of Texas named Cornbread.
