When all the parties were the same, they were all espousing the same ideology of centrist fundamentalism of down with us, up with everybody else, down with our borders, down with our traditions, down with our history, and up with everyone else, particularly if they happen to be Muslim and haters.

Now, the Muslim Brotherhood is banned across the Arab world. It's banned in Egypt where it started.

It's banned in the Emirates.

It's not banned in the West.

We've making ourselves dumb.

We've made ourselves stupid,

and we're no longer standing up for ourselves.

And we're losing, we're in danger of losing

any appreciation of the very values that made us great in the first place.

Great to have you on. I feel like there's so much we need to talk about in relation to the Israel question, what's happening with Jewish people in Europe and around the world,

all those things that you've been writing about for a long time and you've really been writing

about particularly since the 7th of October

pogrom and you have a new book out which is called never again how the west betrayed the

Jews and itself so there is so much in that book I want to ask you about but I guess I'll kick off

by asking you whether you ever thought that you'd have to write a book

called Never Again. Never Again Question Mark, by the way, is the title of the book. Did you ever

think, even as you were editing the Jewish Chronicle and keeping an eye on what was happening

with Jews in Europe, did you ever think it would come to this that you'd have to write a book

called Never Again?
