All right. Coming up on 404 in the afternoon, Felger and Mazz here, we've given you all the

franchise deadline deals and tags and all of that and all those details.

So I think we're pretty much up to date on that.

We have the Trent Brown trade here to the Patriots, which came early this morning.

Interesting bit of news and could it mean something more and something bigger coming down the pike?

We'll circle back to all of that, but they're all just a couple of Bruins items that I wanted to get to here real quick.

And the most newsworthy one is that Jake DeBrusk

will be set out. DMPCD, a coach's decision benched, sent to the ninth floor, if you will,

for tonight's game against the Islanders. And this has really been a long time coming for a guy

who's been underachieving for over a year. I mean, I think. And this is, you know, we have this slow, steady

progression here for Jake DeBusk in the wrong direction from him being dropped in the lineup, to him

losing ice time, to now him being out of a uniform entirely. And the next step is they ship his

ass out of here. So this is where they're headed with Jake DeBrusk. We'll see if this is the wake-up call that he needs and he bounces back from that.

I mean, I would still say he should be on the block because I just looking at his skills, I don't know what he's ever going to be. I don't feel he's a 30-goal score in the league. I mean, even though he scored 27 a couple years ago, I don't feel he's a 30-goal score in today's NHL.

I just don't feel he has it.
